Theo. David Architects TDA+KAL in "New York New Work" Exhibit

We are represented in the exhibit "New York New Work" at the Center for Architecture in New York by our competition entry for the New Medical School Building for the University of Cyprus. The exhibit is sponsored by the NYCAIA and features current projects by New York City based architects, anywhere in the world. It opened on February 11th 2016.

Theoharis David is Honored by the University of Cyprus

The University of Cyprus honored Theoharis David FAIA, for his dedication and service to the University as Chair of the Advisory Committee for Architecture and his essential role towards the creation of the Department of Architecture.  The honor was bestowed on the occasion of the public annual George Paraskevaides Memorial Lecture on October 16th in Nicosia.

Theoharis David FAIA has been invited by the Cyprus Architects Association to give a lecture as part of a series of events organized on the occassion of World Architecture Day which is celebrated on the first Monday of October.  The lecture by Theo. Theo. David Named a "Great Cypriot"

The Phileleftheros Group, the largest and most influential media organization of Cyprus, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of its founding, named 30 men and women of Cypriot origin, as “Great Cypriots” for their significant contributions to Cyprus in a broad range of fields.   Theo. Sunday, September 28th 2:00pm Theoharis David, Sean Khorsandi, and William Watson will be participating in a conversation at the Front Room Gallery in Brooklyn, NY to discuss the imperiled Orange County Government Center, Paul Rudolph’s legacy, and the necessity for preservation. New TDA Offices in New York City

We are excited that our New York City office is now located in the heart of the historic financial district of Manhattan at 90 Water Street.   The multipurpose building developed and designed by Michael G. Fahey AIA, our NYC partner, consists of a 5 storey glass and steel structure added to an existing 18th century limestone and brick commercial building.

TDA+KAL Honored in Limassol Development Awards

In a ceremony held on July 17, 2013 at the Limassol Town Hall, Theo. David Architects + KAL Engineering were awarded with an Honorable Mention for the Spyros Kyprianou Sports Arena.   The Limassol Municipality "Development Awards" were created with the aim of recognizing exceptional developments which promote a high standard of architecture and entrepreneurship in the city of Limassol. Theoharis David, Pratt alumnus and professor of architecture, has been named Pratt Institute’s Distinguished Teacher for 2013-2014. The Distinguished Teacher Award recognizes exceptional dedication to Pratt’s mission and applauds the recipient’s career accomplishments. Students nominate the winner. Teachers Teaching - A Portrait of Pratt Faculty

We are pleased to announce that Theoharis David is currently in the exhibition of photographs of Pratt Institute faculty in the President's Office Gallery, where a reception will be held at 4:00pm on Wednesday, December 12th.
