Venezia Biennale Architettura 2010 - 25 Aug 2010 Theoharis David FAIA will be featured in ENCOUNTERS: A WALKING MOVIE as part of Cyprus’ participation in this year’s architectural biennale taking place in Venice between August 29 and November 21 at the Palazzo Malipiero. Coup de Des 2010 Barcelona - 31 Mar 2010 Theoharis David has been invited by the Fundació Mies van der Rohe to be guest speaker at Coup de Dés 2010 in Barcelona, which this year focuses on the contemporary legacy of Modernism in Eastern Mediterranean Cities within the framework of ETSAB/UPC and Docomomo. Famagusta: remembrance and thoughts for its future - 05 Feb 2010 On February 19th 2010 Theoharis David was the guest speaker at a special event dedicated to the coastal city of Famagusta in Cyprus. His lecture titled "Famagusta: Remembrance and Thoughts for its Future" followed a film presentation and poetry recital by other Cypriot artists. Theoharis David, FAIA, receives the 2009 Prize in Architecture from the Cyprus Architects Association - 19 Dec 2009 Architect Theoharis David was awarded the 2009 Prize in Architecture from the Cyprus Architects Association during a ceremony at the Cyprus Hilton on December 5th This prize is awarded annually to an individual who has had a significant impact upon the world of architecture in Cyprus and internationally. Theoharis David was born and raised in the United States of Cypriot immigrant parents from the town of Morphou.
