Two Exhibitions Celebrating Theo David's Work Featured in Journal "Places"

Two concurrent exhibitions at Pratt Institute on the work of architect and educator Theoharis David are being featured in the online journal Places.
The first exhibition titled "An Architect Drawing" focuses on Mr. David's drawings and opens on February 16th. It will be on view until September 28th 2012.

TDA's competition entry for the redesign of the Old G.S.P. Area in Nicosia has been published by ArchDaily, the world's most visited architecture website.
The idea for this concept of an urban park as a cultural threshold evolved from thinking about the nature of urban space, the need to create an iconic multi-functional accessible park, a dynamic architectural point of reference as threshold for the evolving cultural and civic center of the polis of Nicosia, a European capital.

Theo David Architects Project Shortlisted in World Architecture Festival 2011

We are very happy to announce that TDA has been shortlisted in the Housing category of the World Architecture Festival 2011. The “Gladstonos 22” housing development in Nicosia was selected by WAF along with 15 other international housing projects and will be presented to the WAF jurors in early November where a winner will be announced. Professor Theoharis David taught a group of undergraduate students for the Pratt Architecture Program in Rome, Italy during the 2011 Spring semester. The theme of Prof. David's design studio was "Facades as Complexity and Contradiction Within the Urban Context".
Makedonitissa School Inauguration

The Makedonitissa Elementary School and Kindergarten - Stylianos Lenas in Nicosia was officially inaugurated on March 1st 2011 by his Excellency Mr. Dimitris Christofias, President of the Republic of Cyprus. To celebrate the event, the school's children presented a specially prepared musical and theatrical program to the guests.
Allegra GSP Sport Center Receives Special Distinction

The Allegra GSP Sport Center has been selected as one of the distinguished projects submitted for the 2010 Architecture State Awards (Cyprus) and was part of a special exhibition at the University of Cyprus campus from December 20-22, 2010.
