Lachi Bay, Cyprus
This vacation residential complex defines the entrance to the fishing and tourist village of Latsi located on the northern Mediterranean coast of Cyprus. Its planning concept re-defines the pedestrianised street front with retail and commercial space while enclosing a large interior common area containing various recreational facilities for the inhabitants. The triangular traffic island part of the site supports a small chapel and elevated café area which signal the primary entrance into the village.
In addition to 23 shops, there are a total of 65 residential units distributed amongst terraced flats and semidetached row houses all with private gardens.
